WYSA strongly suggests that each coach, regardless of age group at the least take the "Introduction to Grassroots Soccer" Course offered by US Soccer. It is free, available online, and will only take 20 min of your time.

STEPS TO BEGIN (ANY) US SOCCER LICENSING COURSES
1. Go to the US Soccer Digital Coaching Center and if you haven't already done so, sign up here: https://dcc.ussoccer.com/.
- Once you are logged in, click on "courses" tab and choose the "Introduction" tab.
- If you have already completed the Introduction, skip to step 3.
2. Register for the "Introduction to Grassroots Soccer", you can complete the course at any time.
- Once completed, please send the confirmation email to Jen Goff:
in the body of the email, note the age group you are currently coaching.
- You are now eligible to take any and all of the grassroots courses (4v4, 7v7, 9v9, or 11v11).
3. Each online course is 2 hours in length and costs $25, which will be reimbursed by WYSA.
4. To register for an online course:
- Click on "Grassroots Courses"
- Choose "online courses"
- Choose the course that fits your age group and register:
- 4v4 - Kindergarten, Grade 1 & Grade 2
- 7v7 - Grade 3/4
- 9v9 - Grade 5/6
- 11v11 - Grade 7/8 and up
5. When you have completed the course:
- Forward your confirmation email to Jen Goff:
in the body of the email, note the age group you are currently coaching.
- Forward your payment receipt from US Soccer to Bruce Burk for reimbursement:
